What's the difference between digital signature and electronic signature?

There is not a common definition for digital and electronic signature, in an international frame. Each country has adopted its own term.
In Spain for example, a digital signature would be the signature of a digital file, based on digital certificates.
Electronic signature is the legal application of digital signature.
